Saari primary school

Welcome to our school! 

We are class 5 and 6. We are doing this etwinning project with our English teacher Kristiina Latvanen. Here we show you some pictures and video clips from our school.

Our school building and school yard

Our school is situated in Saari village, which is in northern Mäntsälä some 70 kilometres from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Our school is brand new, it was built in 2013.

This is the front side of our school building. On the left wing there is also a preschool.

PE lessons (class 5)
Our PE gym is in a separate building and it takes us about two minutes to walk there. The place is called Keuda.

Assembly hall / canteen
This is our assembly hall. All the presentations and festivities are held here.

It is also our school canteen where we have our school lunch every day. School monitors take turns helping the kitchen staff to wipe the tables after lunch.
